How a software maker included a bunch of tools for talking right in the box

Music production software maker Ableton gave their fans a bunch of reasons to talk with their latest release, Ableton Live 8. Already with a strong community of enthusiasts, Ableton included a bunch of tools for talking right in the box:

  • Lots of stickers with suggestions on where to put them (i.e. different sizes for laptops and cell phones)
  • An invite to join their online community to share and discover music by fellow Ableton users
  • An Ableton Live demo CD with a polite request to share it with a friend
