Thoughtful personalization makes your customers feel special — and when they feel special, they tell someone about it.

But unfortunately, you might not have the bandwidth or resources to make something unique for each of your customers. The good news is that you don’t have to over think some easy personal touches.

For example, Morton’s Steakhouse prints menus with “Happy Birthday” and the date at the top to give to customers who are celebrating at their restaurant. They know people come to their restaurant for special occasions, so they plan ahead to surprise and delight by printing these special menus.

They probably have the same format for anniversaries, receptions, and other reasons for celebrating. It’s a simple way to make someone feel special without having to print a unique menu for each customer, and it’s easy to repeat on a large scale.
