Some of your best potential talkers are on your payroll. Help them spread the word with these techniques:

1> Give them a clear message to spread
2> Give them great things to share
3> Host big parties

1> Give them a clear message to spread

It’s hard to spread a message if you aren’t clear on what it is. Support your employees by supplying them with the fundamentals of what you do and what you believe in. Keep your message simple (no jargon, no marketing stuff), and know that if you don’t, your employees will create their own.

2> Give them great things to share

Make it easy for your employees to bring you up in conversation by supplying them with things to share. Great examples include friends and family discounts, swag, and event passes. Without things to share, there won’t be a lot of opportunities to talk about you.

3> Host big parties

Get people excited and talking about you by asking your employees to bring their friends and family to a big celebration. Holiday parties, charity events or social gatherings are just a few ways to get everyone together. The more unique and inclusive your event is, the more your employees will want to invite their outside friends.
