How to turn new employees into raving fans

This guest post is from Jeremy Epstein, VP of Marketing and Social Navigator at Sprinklr.

As every word of mouth practitioner knows, being remarkable is the key to marketing success.

Look at all of your customer touchpoints (including Accounts Payable!) and figure out how to do them so that others make a remark about it.

And become your raving fan.

And want to tell their network about it.

A few years ago, I got to meet Pradeep Rathinam, CEO of Aditi Technologies, who pointed me to this video showing how his new employees were welcomed on their first day of work.

This is an important point not to be ignored.

It’s not just your customers who can be raving fans, it’s everyone and anyone who has a vested interest in your success as a company — your vendors and your employees included.

Give ‘em something worth talking about (you don’t always need an elephant!) and you’ll be pouring gasoline on the fire.
