Lois will be leading an author session based on her book Beyond Buzz: The Next Generation of Word of Mouth Marketing and offered these tips as a preview:
- Make meaning, not buzz. Focus on the key themes to create meaning such as relevancy, emotion and context.
- Build on momentum. Once people start talking about your brand, go beyond the buzz to keep people sharing your story.
- Every company has a story to be told. Regardless of industry, product, market — every company has the potential to tell a great story.
