Accommodate your talkers

A few months ago, Springwise shared the story of Elvine, a Swedish clothing brand offering a free place to stay for visiting “creators.” The room, called “Creators Inn,” is located in Gothenburg, Sweden and is complete with free wifi, a guest book, and a balcony with impressive views of the city. Foreign visitors are given priority, but anyone can make a case for why they should be allowed to use the room.

Elvine describes the concept as this:

By offering visiting creators free accommodation, we hope to remind people of a lovely little thing called hospitality. And in addition to making the visiting creators happy and Gothenburg a more interesting city because of their presence, we hope this simple idea can be exported and implemented around the globe. What a wonderful world that would result in.

What they’re also doing is giving some big talkers a reason to visit their city and their business.

The Lesson: If you play host to big talkers, you’re certain to get some great word of mouth.
