3-Minute WOM Lesson: 3 places to feature your testimonials

Great testimonials are word of mouth gold — but too often they’re invisible to prospective customers. Here are three ways to highlight yours:

1> On your homepage
2> Next to your order forms
3> In the stuff you’re already sending

1> On your homepage

Feature genuine love from your fans front and center. Before you dive into your big pitch, let strangers see how you’ve helped other customers solve their problems. And remember: No matter how great of a copywriter you may be, true love from your happy customers will sell better than anything you could come up with.

2> Next to your order forms

Your order forms are where you can really benefit from a last little push to overcome any remaining customer hesitations. Testimonials are great at this. Put them in the sidebars of your online shopping carts, next to your menu items, and all over your order forms.

3> In the stuff you’re already sending

Odds are you’re already frequently communicating with your prospects and customers. Take advantage of this opportunity by featuring all of your great recommendations along with the content you’re already sending. Try it with your newsletters, your email signatures, your catalogs, and your shipping boxes.
